It is inspiring to note that the Nehru College of Pharmacy is making a study growth surpassing all adversaries. Since last decade, Pharmacy profession in India is evolving due to industrialization and increase in patients need, leading to an increase in demand of pharmacy professionals. Our college has been able to cater to the ever increasing demand of committed pharmacy professionals. Making new inroads toward premier newer courses, Nehru College of Pharmacy has been successfully introduced Pharm. D program leading to the award of doctor of pharmacy. Pharm D is a six year course which provides intensive training in pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy services. Since we have our well established own hospital infrastructures (750 bed super specialty hospital) of P K DAS institute of Medical Sciences, Vaniyamkulam, ottapalam, Students are having the opportunity of better service utilization. Also NEHRU COLLEGE OF PHARMACY has been introduced D.PHARM program, a 2 year course for holding Diploma in Pharmacy.

The role of a pharmacist has been changed rewardingly and has thrown up varied career option that include community Pharmacy, Geriatric Pharmacy, Home health care, Hospital Pharmacy, Governmental Agencies, Pharma economics, Pharmacy education, clinical research apart from pharmaceutical industry.

Nehru College of Pharmacy especially has been brimming with activities and conferences which include scientific seminars; Pharma conference (Pharmacon), National and International conferences add up to the student acumen and facilitate updation. Also Nehru College of Pharmacy participates in social activities for the service of mankind. The excellent track record of placements of the college amply speaks that our students are competent enough and employable. I am happy to note that our former students have been working successfully not only in India but also abroad and thus becoming our brand ambassadors.

We have firmly believed that we should not rest on existing laurels and hence has strived for bettering our existing faculties. We have added on infra-structure facilities, including sophisticated labs, well stocked libraries, huge playgrounds, well equipped auditoriums, language labs, Wi-Fi connectivity, spacious well-furnished classrooms, cozy hostels, very good transportation facilities, cafeteria and cleaned, hygienic canteen supplying fresh, nutritious and varied snacks and meals.
